Transfer Your Credits and Stay on the Fast Track to Earning Your Degree

We understand the hard work you’ve already put into your education, and we want to help you make the most of it. That’s why Montreat College works to accept as many transfer credits as possible, so you can stay on track toward graduation without unnecessary delays.

Transferring your credits has never been easier! With TRACE, Montreat College’s Transfer Credit Evaluator, you can quickly see how your previous coursework will transfer and how close you are to completing your degree.

How to Apply

Getting started is simple! All transfer applicants must submit:

  • A free application for admission.
  • Official transcripts from all previously attended post-secondary institutions*
  • If you’re in your first semester of college, submit an official high school transcript (You’ll receive provisional acceptance pending your current semester transcript.)
  • International students: Submit a course-by-course evaluation from InCred.

*Admissions decisions may be based on unofficial transcripts; however, final official transcripts must be received by September 30 for the Fall semester and February 28 for the Spring semester. Official transcripts are required to continue enrollment beyond one semester.

Transfer Requirements

  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 (C average)
  • Students who do not meet this requirement will be considered for conditional acceptance and may be limited to 14 semester credit hours in their first semester.
